"Afterimage"

Afterimage was the second installment in a series of art + architecture exhibitions titled “a series of meaningless events. ”The program of the night combined music, poetry, art, and architecture. Work was selected based on the theme of the “afterimage,” referring to the drawings that emerge in the margins of projects like architecture and writing. The works displayed were drawings that acted as a project’s afterimage, whether that be a work of architecture or a collection of poetry. In addition, the work selected reflected on the nature of memory in how that shapes the feelings around a drawing. A large table centered the installation where attendants talked about the projects, shared drawings of their own, and engaged in warm conversation on a cold spring night.
